The RISD Material Resource Center is a place to explore materials and discover new methods and processes which can lead to new sources of inspiration and creativity.
To Borrow Items from the Material Resource Center
Select items from the shelves and bring them to the checkout desk at:
The Visual Resources Center, room 204, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4pm
The Picture Collection, room 207, Monday to Thursday, 4pm - 8 pm, and Sunday, 5 - 9pm
Materials circulate for 7 days at a time. Please return materials promptly - an overdue fine of .20 per 5 items will be charged.
Return materials to the Material Resource Center during open hours, or at the the Library's Circulation Desk, 1st floor after the Lab is closed.
Please take good care of your samples and use them only as visual aids. Other students would also like the opportunity to borrow the materials.
